So the game changers keep telling me that no matter what I think, I can break the top 20 in Arena. I'm finding that hard to believe, considering that it is virtually impossible for me to stay over 200 in my shard.I have been farming Phoenix for quite some time now (based on advice I have seen all over the place, and the fact that numerous top-20 players in my shard are currently using them), and while I started moving up for a while with them, I seem to be at a standstill--unable to beat many of the teams in my shard. I have found that I am unable to beat any Sith or FO squad, any squad with Chaze, and most non-NS squads. You think it's bad now at least a mod drops for every challenge you do back when mods came out you'd get 4-5 out of 20 Sims if you were lucky, and we had to walk 10 miles to and from school, in the snow, uphill.

Palp lead, vader, rg, tfp and prob tarkin or kylo. Gear and star then as best you can, use Vader’s aoe then culling blade on kanan to get rid of counters then lay waste to them.Drop Jedi like a sack of hot kitten, they are not going to help you

When you have thrawn stick him in instead of tarkin or tfp which ever works less for you

When did you start playing?

And this may be worth a shot. The only reason I'm farming Jedi is just to get Yoda.

First thing I noticed is you need better mods all your characters need more speed

Take a look at the top phoenix users on your arena and look at their mods and speed boosts I bet you will see them with +60 or more speed from mods

All your arena characters should at least have a +30 speed arrow and then as many secondaries as you can stack. Square diamond and circle are the most common mods all of them should have 8 or better for speed secondaries. This will slow down your hera & Ezra farming but mods are good forever so I would recommend farming a really good set for your arena team

Are you in a full active guild? How often does your guild raid? You may need to find a new one as that is very important in getting gear and other things to strengthen your squad.

You'll need to build up your darkside ships so you can get 5 star Tarkin capitol ship and start completeing the zeta challenge when it unlocks phoenix can be really good with their zeta abilities unlocked at high level

At lowet levels arena rank is all about being in a shard on the first day getting a head start on most of the rest of the shard and levelling up faster than everyone else through getting daily crystal rewards.

I would imagine that you are losing primarily against people with better gear better mods better stars and better levels.

Phoenix struggles against Wiggs/chaze(if the 5th is spike damage rather than aoe if your strategy isnt perfect) teams and empire and Sith teams especially since the vader/Palpatine rework makes them hard counters to phoenix all else being equal.

Going up against Wiggs/chaze the key is not to have someone die in the first treble attack, cleanse the baze taunt and kill off wedge or Biggs before the second treble attack. Don't forget to use stagger to delay heal over time effects from Chirrut.

Yeah, I've been working on the Mods but so far I haven't gotten any good ones. I already have all my best speed Mods on Phx.

I think my guild would probably be classified as "casual", but we Raid about twice a week.

And I've been working toward a 5* Tarkin capitol already, though I'm a ways away from achieving it.
