Budget Padmé Amidala Lead?

Hey everyone!

(Apologies in advance if I do not use any terms in the right way, this is my first post!)

So I recently unlocked 7-star Padmé and I want to start using her in teams for grand arena and stuff. However, I don't really know how to utilize her. I have her with Ahsoka and JK Anakin for sure, but I don't know who to put in the other two slots. I don't have General Kenobi yet, and it'll be a bit until I get him to 7 stars. I don't want to use Grand Master Yoda because he's on my Jedi team and apparently Windu just straight up isn't good. I was thinking of doing Padmé, JK Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, and R2? When I unlock 3P0, he'll probably replace R2, and when the time comes to promote General Kenobi to 7 stars and put him in, I would have the means to throw Rex into a clone team.

Follow-up question: when I unlock General Kenobi, should I throw him into Padmé's team immediately or wait to promote him to 7 stars before doing so if I have other 7-star characters instead?

Thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've attached my profile below so y'all can get a better look at my options.

Thanks!

  • What you're saying seems a good plan. Kenobi is at 5* better then rex, because rex biggest advantage is his TM gain which you won't get with padme. Another option besides R2 and C3PO is barris. If you have a zeta on het unique she makes your team very durable. If you go for barris, it might be better to wait with kenobi until he's 7*

Also when you unlock CLS, R2 and C3PO (especially C3PO) are very good with rebels (the best rebel team is CLS, han, chewie, C3PO and threepio and chewie) so when you make that team you can put barris again with your padme and you can get your 3PO with CLS
  • Yes, when you get Kenobi, put him in straight away. I don't care if he's gear 8. Just put him in the team.
Your best team is: Padme, Anakin, Ahsoka, GK, GMY.
This will eventually become your arena team, so having GMY in there doesn't matter. As for GAC when yoda is with your jedi, you can easily 3- or 4-man your grand arena battles, and just leave GMY out. But if you need to, put in R2, not Rex.
  • No in GAC you can use 5 jedi and a padme team with 4 people.

If you want to put padme on defense in GAC, put R2, C3PO or barris with it
  • Aayla is top notch under Padme. Just remember to stack tons of critical chance and potency on Aayla. Barris with zeta is also a good one.

Are you saying that, in theory, my Jedi team will be "so good" they could be under-manned without GMY and he'd be on the Republic team? So a team of 4 instead of 5 on my Jedi team instead depending on the context?

Well, what I meant was, in theory, your Galactic Republic team will be so good they could be undermanned without GMY and he'd be with your Jedi.

I personally have a Padme team as my #1 arena team. I have a relic GMY who is useful in Arena, but in GAC he goes with Bastila (and soon Revan) to form another team, and my Padme squad works fine without him. (If I really need him to counter a high-tier team I encounter on defense, I either put in a substitute like R2D2 or Fives, or I just leave my jedi without Yoda and hope they still do okay)

Make sense? Either way, I don't think its much worth it to farm C3PO now. GMY is much easier to get.

Yeah, makes sense, thanks! I already have 7-Star GMY so I’m actually farming JKR at the moment. After that I think I’ll be doing 3P0

Shaak Ti also works decently with Padme, though it sounds like you may not have her farmed yet.
