Cad Bane is flawed

Just saying. Cad Bane should have a zeta where he flies around the enemy and places three thermal bombs, five on Jedi, on each toon after he reaches contract. He’s the only bounty hunter without a zeta and it’s crazy cuz he gave the Jedi fits

    5 thermals on a single enemy for 1 ability? Madness.

    You can't put a Zeta on a contract. Also, are you suggesting the animation plays when he hits contract? I don't think there's ever been an animation of nearly that magnitude for something that isn't an active ability.

    So? Omega level upgrades can still be very powerful. A Zeta isn't required to be kit-changing, some Zetas are horrible.

    There should be a full stop at the end of a sentence, please and thank you. A character's in-lore power rarely reflects their power in-game. Yoda should be stomping most non-force users if that were the case, but he doesn't, so it's not. Cad Bane is an older toon, and thus will be weaker. He did get a minor tweak to his basic, with the additional attack chance going from 65% to 100% to work better with 4-LOM/Zuckuss teams, but he doesn't need a complete overhaul. Let old characters be old characters, otherwise the power creep would get exponentially worse.

    Wow. Obviously you just came here to bust on my suggestion instead of thinking of a way to make Bane better.   I’d say thanks for the discussion but there was none.   Just trashing it without offering any ideas

  • For example.  Okay change it.   Give him a count down like Rex where after a certain number of turns he activates it.    Then maybe instead of 3 or 5.   One on each and 2 on target or three for Jedi

    Clearly you have zero idea what the difference between "trashing" and "criticism" is. I pointed out some of the flaws in your ideas (no zeta on contract, difficult to animate passively) as well as in your reasoning (old toons getting overhauls).

    Think before you post, I was trying to offer some insight. If the grammar police is what ticked you off, that was one sentence in my entire comment.

    Still doesn't address the issue of the animation. And when you say countdown, I assume you mean it starts on cooldown? If that's the case, that implies an ability granted by the contract, not a passive effect. Passive effect + animation = big unnecessary headache for developers.
