Calling assists

Question

Is there a way to know which characters ALWAYS and which characters SOMETIMES call assists? For instance: Biggs always calls Wedge to assist for "Comrade-in-Arms." But Chirrut Îmwe's "Strength of Purpose" doesn't call Baze to assist if Chirrut's first strike is sufficient to kill the opposing toon. Why the difference, and is there any way to know?

GK has the same, he will not call an assist if he kills the opponent.  not sure but you can check the "background code" on swgoh.gg but i see no difference.

Didn't know you could see that stuff, that's really cool! It's an important stat to know, I think, because various toons get bonuses based on health steal, percentage of health restored, or similar. Wedge can heal quite a bit on a Crit by assisting Biggs, but that doesn't help Baze much when Chirrut kills someone and Baze doesn't get to help!
