Can someone explain asajj ventress' strike fear

Question

Ive tried reading about her on the forums but no ones exactly explained how strike fear works.
I know she heals team, I've seen her do it during auto plays and when I'm fighting against her in gw. The thing is, when I use strike fear, no one gets healed even with enemies with positive effects. She's doesn't even heal herself. Am I missing something? How do I get her to heal?

She heals only if she successfully clears enemy buffs. Unfortunately this is pretty rare due to bugs. Some buffs don't clear at all while some others (taunts, offence up, advantage) are cleansed reliably, and then you get a decent heal. She once succeeded removing retribution from Kylo, but that's pretty rare.
Don't rely on it anyway :)

I believe the bug is being fixed in the feb update so should clear all buffs :)
