fives for pvp / gw / light side battles -- you will need him in the higher tiers

Fives. Dude is a beast.

Polls like these are borderline pointless. It all depends on YOU and the team YOU want to build. My first complete farm was FOO for my First Order squad. I've done partial farms on JKG and Ahsoka. Currently finishing HRSc. It really depends on your current needs and wants. I'm digging Scout, but Daka seems key to completing DS level 8 missions.

Dark Side are short on healers. You definitely need her.

Daka, Tano, or HRS.

If you have not unlocked anyone other than QGJ, I will assume you are a newer player.

If so, Daka is probably the most bang for the buck. She will be invaluable in DS campaigns and GW. She is also solid in the arena.

If you are interested in getting Yoda, Ashoka is a good farm as she is one of the better Jedi.

Finally, a Rebel synergy team is an easy farm and will be competitive. HRS is a solid member of such a team.


If you are newer, I'd suggest unlocking and getting two of them to 5 as opposed to taking one all the way to 7. Two 5 * toons will provide you with more early utility than 1 7 *.

In regard of these previous comment (@eventineelessedil), my best advice would be, whoever you choose to farm, never do a partial farm, you better have a 7* fives then 3 other 5*... go big or go home. all the way or no way.

Depends what your player level is. If you are say level 50, 3 5* characters are of far more use than 1 7*.

My partial farms were from when I was newer and greener. Now, grizzled and blooded, I would mostly agree with you. However, in early game, 5* heroes can take you a long way. Those 6th/7th stars take a long time.
When you consider that it takes 145 shards to get up to 5* and another 185 shards to get up to 7*, it becomes tempting to have two 5* for fewer shards than one 7*. It really depends where you are in game progression.
I think you can safely leave a hero at 6* for a while if you want to bring another one up. Above L70, might as well go get that 7*.

You are absolutely right! I forgot about the early stages of development, if you are a new player, you should go with partial farms! I'm in an old server my response was biased.

Fives or Old Daka. Either choice is great but early in the game, it's easier to obtain Light Side characters from various sources and still make the progress so I would go with Daka this way.
