Thrawn lead, Nihilus, Deathtrooper, Shoretrooper, General Kenobi is the new meta. But just like it took a while for Zaul to fade out (and he's still viable), it will take a while for the shift to take hold. And there will always be a significant presence of Chaze at the top.

You still running Jedi? If so that's why. Jedi take some actual effort to beat. Meanwhile I can nearly auto through the standard triple cleanse teams, and I'm getting a few defensive wins against those teams. If you face a team like that, and it's a joke... it means they have bad mods, or don't have a clue how to mod them.

All I see is another character to take no. 3 spot in a chaze team

At the moment I hate GK more tho, and after thrawn I get thrawn and GK Chaze Rex zMaul you name it, all in one GW. Fun if you have time but the game is getting boooring and I would rather go outside

Leef is correct in that it's not the best D slot team anymore ... I agree with the OP.

Also...tanky well built Thrawn-led Empire teams laugh at Zaul and the dinky damage Sith do.

You still running Jedi? If so that's why. Jedi take some actual effort to beat. Meanwhile I can nearly auto through the standard triple cleanse teams, and I'm getting a few defensive wins against those teams. If you face a team like that, and it's a joke... it means they have bad mods, or don't have a clue how to mod them.

If you have a properly modded team as you described, it's easy to auto Jedi teams. Don't give up hope.

I faced this team today... Destroyed me the first time I went against it and had to change my team up to beat it.

I don't get these arguments. Everyone can literally beat everyone. In my shard, I have zMaul teams still getting top at payout. DN, Thrawn, Rex triple Cleanse, GK-Zarriss duo, jedi, there is a zader team that sneaks into the top 20 from time to time. This first order team sneaks into the top 20 at times... there isn't an OP toon or team if you can get 1st.

Defense doesn't matter. The other day I dropped from 2 overall down to 41 and got back to top 3 before my payout. Just make sure you have a team and a good strategy against different teams you may run into

Well it goes like this, I used 4 battles today took 1st and wasn't around at payout. Explain to me how I can do that if I fall to 41st.

I always beat them. I just have to direct my first couple of moves. They have forsight up, so DT can't increase cooldowns right out of the gate. I can auto them, but they take more time to beat than a trip cleanse team. Mullato said that team is a joke. And if he still runs Jedi, that was possibly a reason why. I'm sure Jedi do better on offense against them. It's a more time consuming victory for me when I'm on offense. I'd rather fight the triple cleanse teams.

I eat up Zaul. All of my attackers except DT have a low crit chance (less likely to set off their stealth/TM), and debuffs give me turn meter. Not to mention 3/5 on my team have a self cleanse (with Thrawn and Shoretrooper the cleanse gives me 80% turn meter after the debuff gave me 20% effectively reducing my cooldowns for free). Then Thrawn has an additional duo cleanse+protection, and Kenobi has the team cleanse. And both Thrawn and Nihilus have devastating unavoidable attacks.

I was running Tarkin lead, and it was great. But I struggled against Zaul. Thrawn lead fixed that.

I can auto all Jedi teams with my thrawn lead. I meant you will eventually get there without needing any setup.

And I believe that @Mullato has been all jedi all the time. So I'd say he may be an authority on Jedi.

A well modded, proper turn order and synergistic Thrawn lead is much more difficult to beat Than triple cleanse is. This doesn't mean they can't be beat, it just means it's harder.
