Obviously this will be a hot topic for a while but I have a question for those that already have CLS. Does he have plenty of uses outside of arena? Being on a new shard I've been working towards unlocking R2 and CLS on their next cycle but now I'm wondering if working on BB8 and Rey might be better? Obviously CLS will still be a beast, but the rework videos I've watched today makes me believe/assume the current meta will shift drastically, especially with the amount of DS teams that are going to pop up.

CLS can still beat any jedi training rey or nightsister or whatever team in arenaCLS can solo rancor, and with han solo and others, can do alot of damage in several phases of haatCLS is great in TB and TW.JTR is actually better at all of that as well.Whether you should aim directly for JTR or CLS or Vader/Palp, just wait and see what happens.

For you, go 1: Phoenix Squad. 2: Emp Palp 3: Vader and three more Empire toons 4: R2 5: CLS 6: First Order 7:BB8 8: 2 more Resistance toons 9: Vet Han and Chewy 10: Jedi Training wheels Rey.

CLS can solo the rancour on his own as a single toon or solo phase 1 of haat in teams. Not to mention that hebis needed for certainl stb missions and is a very valuable option for tw.I'm not too big a fan of going jtr at the moment when in a uoung shard because you need to be 84? to start farjing thr vets and they take 3 months to farm as ftp. So it wil be next cycle anyway.

By the time Rey comes back things will have shifted again anyway.

You need the vets for Rey. Do you have the cantina battles finished and 3star? If so go that route. If not you can only spend crystals to get the vets. Pretty easy choice IMO

CLS is still probably the best single character in the game. The problem with him in arena right now is that the duo of RJT and BB8 is so obscenely good that he can't stick around as well.

While I don't think he's the best character in the game, CLS is still the most useful character by a pretty solid margin, even post Vader/Palp rework.

He'll be an arena staple for a long time, can plug into most squads, isn't necessary to be leader to pull his weight, is required in LSTB, is very helpful in TW, and is easily the top character in both raids. For example I typically post 25-30m in HAAT on 2 attacks, and he's used in both.
