The only death mark that prevents revives is the one in the rancor raid. The deathmark from Deathtrooper doesn’t prevent the revive. "DaPowerfulJedi;c-1610832" wrote:

Here is Death Trooper’s Terminate at level 8:Deal Physical damage to target enemy. If the target is suffering any debuffs, this attack is a guaranteed Critical Hit. If there are any defeated enemies, also inflict Deathmark for 2 turns, which can't be Resisted. Targets defeated by Terminate can't be revived.
Not sure what prevents it in Sion’s kit. It seems like hatred has precedence over deathmark.
CG? Did you try to fix DT’s deathmark? Just askin’...- "Targets defeated by terminate". Not "targets that die with deathmark".
Finishing Sion using the move Terminate (not the resulting deathmark) will prevent his revive. - It’s a bug. Sion is reviving through isolate in arena. A lot of players seeing it.
- The Traya thing maybe a bug, don't know or care enough to comment on that, but the Deathtrooper thing isn't.

Sion and isolate is this:
"can't attack or gain positive effects out of turn"
Revive is a positive effect.
Isolate only prevents revive if he dies out of turn.
If it is his turn and he dies from dots or counter attacks basically anything that can kill him during his turn he can revive.
On topic:
DT Deathmark has been broke and all over the place forever. If you check the mechanics on swgoh.gg deathmark is supposed to apply revive immunity.

Deathmark's ability description is a bit incomplete compared to how it was described originally in raids. We need to update the ability description to show it prevents revives as seen below. The patch fixed the Nightsisters (besides Zombie) being able to revive even if deathmarked.
The only revive that can't be stopped is zombie unique. So if a character killed with deathmark is reviving than deathmark is still bugged.
The Dev's will most likely not do anything about it reported here as it seems all bug reports need to go thru answers.ea.com. Good luck - scuba75Seasoned RookieDeathmark in raids has always said can't be revived. It has been broken on and off also.

His post to me sounds like the DT DM ability needs to be updated to read as it does in raids, which is the only place we have a full description if deathmark.
Now let's look at the mechanics of DM and compare to all the other can't revive abilities
DT deathmark
DN annhilate
Boba execute
DT terminate
They all tag the target with "revive_immunity" that effect "revive".
No let's look at revive abilities
Ee revive
It looks for a dead ally not tagged with "revive_immunity"
Jyn revive
It looks for dead ally rebel not tagged with "revive_immunity"
Seems to me DM should be preventing revives
I have my theory as to why sion still revived with deathmark along with probably Boba and Srp (self revives)
Then there is also this bug report from May acknowledged by EA where they also mentioned the fixed the self revive problem with deathmark

This last update fixed dm for the above reported bug however probably broke it for self revives (again) - scuba75Seasoned Rookie

Yet the bug report I posted was about MT lead revives from NS killed with deathmark still reviving that was acknowledged as a bug and fixed with the content update last week.
Again DT DM doesn't state that it won't revive anywhere in game, that I agree with. I am pretty sure @CG_SBCrumb post means that they need to update DT DM to state that it prevents revive.
