Death Trooper worth the buy?

So if you are comparing the cost from the shipments store to the new empire packs for 20$ US then most definitely the packs are worth it. For 20$ you will get 80 shards. It would cost 6,400 crystals to get 80 shards through the shipments store which is roughly 45$, so the 20$ price for 80 shards is a steal. With the new Imperial trooper update Death Trooper works really well under a Veers lead without Krennic.

Buy the $20 pack for 80 shards. Grind the rest through Cantina.

Thanks for the reply, I'm planning on buying the $20 pack. Would he work in a Zader or EP team? I don't have Veers, and likely won't farm him unless Troopers as category are OP.

Dt in good against chaze, but speed up him because is not very fast. Deathmarks it's great with tank, 2/3 attack and kill anyone...except kylo of course

Is he viable at 6* g8? It will stil take a while until I will get him to g9 and I don't know if I should use the credits to take him from level 64 to 85 and throw him in arena. I do have some good speedy mods that I could put on him.

I used TFP and Boba with moderate succes at g8 until a few weeks ago, I think. It helps that I am on a December 16 shard, so a newish shard. Anyway thanks for the advice, I guess I'll have to be a little more patient even though it doesn't come easy to me :)

I have him 4* g9, his basic is soft. Maybe this will help

I use him at 7* for arena (under boba lead) and love his deathmark. I also managed to keep deathmark applied on the rancor last night although I am not sure it had a similar impact on damage numbers - maybe that is a bug...

Deathmark does minimal damage to raid bosses, 0.02% if I'm not mistaken

DT w/ troopers is a beast. DT w/out them is mediocre at best.

But under Veers where he gets 50% tm on a kill and offense up (another 10% tm) And +15% crit chance, then +20% crit damage from Snow, +10% health from Shore...u get the idea.

Issue is, a trooper squad uses only 1 plug and play toon...either zBariss or GK bcuz they desperately need a cleanser. Otherwise, u have Veers, Snow, DT, Shore. Although Shore could b looked at as good, he's no Baze so he only shines w/ Empire.

Very few ppl r gonna bother to lvl, star and gear toons that aren't good in any other comp.
