Death Trooper worth the buy?

Good day fellow gamers. I'm currently debating buying $100 in crystals vs buying the Death Trooper pack (and probably the multi pack for even more shards). I don't have Krinec (spelling?) and don't plan to get him, I was thinking he might replace boba in my Imperial team.

What are some community thoughts on the packs, and if in my situation if I should buy or grind him out (or skip?).
