Different shard for Ship Battles?

Yes they said this in the notes, or maybe a comment for a dev.

They resorted the groups based on you power. They didn't offer any explanation on how the sorting was done just that it was based on your power.

so if I was around top 60 in normal arena, that would place me in a certain group for ship battle?

kinda weak though if so...would be nice to see one of the arena people on my shard lower level than I, instead of people I've never seen before

Top placement in ships right now is obviously whoever created their own pay wall up there. Using team power to sort out shards isn't entirely accurate as some have grinded their way up while others bought it much faster. The point is EA would have to add a secondary sort referencing spending to achieve the shards people seem to think they should be on. Not sure that is feasible or will ever happen.

As for the mods being removed. I am not sure if it would work or whatever but I am positive the corporate guilds would do it in a heartbeat to get any sort of advantage. I flat out refuse to move mods personally, as it is too much like work. :)

Just to comment, I've been top 3 in my shard since day 3 of ships. I was a Lvl 79 back then (now lvl 80). The top in my shard is level 83 (sadlovous). Me, I have 62k power. he has 69k power. In fact I've beaten him once or twice.

Dunno how this things work, but I really need to thank the devs for my shard:P
