I won't battle with him in arena but could develop fun comps with him in GW, thinking about building an all counter squad with him, dooku, fives, AS, whoever fits in.
Could be fun with characters that can multi counter or in Aalya case call an assist. Get double assist attacks from Gar - Under Zader, Dooku's counter removes TM, and gar would assist putting speed down. Putting another taunting counter, like Sith Trooper in arena with Gar, the entire opponents squad would have speed down. By the second turn.
- He looks like a well balanced character. Not OP, not terrible. We need more of these and less of the others

If you dont have a heavy Maul and Rex meta that could work.
Vs Maul: Dooku wont be faster than the fastest Sith unless the other squad is poorly modded. The entire squad should be Dazed pretty quickly and Nihilus will shut down all specials for one turn.
Vs. Rex: Good chance the attack from Dooku will crit and anybody else that attscks or assists, Rex will SD before Vader goes, no AOE slow or dots.
Vs. Nihilus lead, Wiggs, R1, you might have a good chance.
I do think they would be fun for GW under Vader lead though. Maybe Rancor and HAAT- He looks great in teams under level 82. (Pre-Zeta) Giving royal guard a 50% chance to counter? Yes please. But at last, every creative or interesting strategy is immediately nullified by the most overpowered toon... Zaul. Kind of ruins the game having someone so ridiculously better than everything else.

Maul isnt OP, he just has an effect that negates counter attacks. The new guys might be good under Rex, but youll need him for sure.- He's definitely not the worst character in the line up. Even if you don't zeta him he could be interesting to work with. Also finding a team for him wouldn't be too difficult. An all out attack team might have a place for a high level gar with some tenacity mods so he can resist some effects that would nullify his abilities...

I don't know - 50% counter with all of the AoEs flying around in arena might be solid. Especially since many Empire toons have some very nice debuffs on their basic (Vader, DT, Palp, TFP and even RG) - TFP's is sheer damage. Obviously you have to pick just 4 (or less if you want to run something else in there) - but there are some solid choices.
Yea too bad mauls daze makes his leader ability unviable.

His zeta negates any strategy besides a triple cleanse to extend the match long enough to widle them down. It's way OP when compared to anything else in the game.
