Droids No Longer Cutting It, What to Do?

Yeah, your clones are the closest to being arena ready. You have the characters to build an empire team, but that is going to take a while. As a former droid user, the biggest thing that you are going to have to adjust to is the high likelihood of not going first anymore. You will need lots of speed secondaries on your mods to overcome the lack of JE and 50% TM boost. You can look at my swgoh.gg profile to see where I have landed. I didn't go directly to this team, however, My first move was getting STH maxed and making him fast. For a while, this worked, but people started making their Biggs so fast that I couldn't get the taunt up to open the match. The best answer to this is Shoretrooper or Baze. My Shoretrooper is only 4*, but I have him geared to 10 and modded for health and protection. He never lives long enough to use his taunt/heal, but it's usually enough. The clones are kinda tanky, but you still might lose one to the OHKO. Rex lead is a good counter to Empire teams if you have those to deal with.

Don't wait around hoping for things to get better for your droids. They are a fun team and useful for GW and AAT raid, but their day has come and gone in arena. Good luck.

I thought Clones were going in the same boat as droids?

I agree with @darth_nihilus_ . It's best to wait for droids to have a Zeta because it'll not take long when they get one.

I'm one of the last droid players in my shard. It's though, it's hard. Try to hold on a little longer!

Lately I started using K2, since then top 5 is within reach. The problem of K2 is that he is quite hard to gear up. Maybe it's better if you farm more crit damage mods with speed secondaries, until the droids get their zeta.

Looking at your droids, I see you need B2. He is essential against Shoretrooper and Baze. And you need better speed mods. Everyone should have a +30 speed arrow. Try to get everyone above +50 speed from mods and give JE +80 speed from mods.
