Even if droids are the most fun squad to use, you cant expect them to be constantly viable otherwise you could just keep using the same characters constantly that you have maxed out while others are chasing the ever changing meta squads. Many people including myself have used droids at some point but have moved on and maybe we will move back in the future but you cant expect a squad that has been viable to finish top of arena since day 1 to remain like this constantly and complain when they have a few months off. Do what everyone else does and farm/gear other characters and maybe someday you can use droids again.
