In my experience, the fight goes pretty much the same:1. Anyone who comes in my team before the opponent's Poe, can't do anything that really matters2. His Poe taunts3. Poe has way too much HP to kill it fast enough.4. His Poggle does special damage / advantage / offense whatever it can up on his team5. After this, the droids generally kills 2 of my team and the game is over.In some really rear cases I am very lucky and my team somehow survives the first turn and not everyone gets heal immunity and my healer doesn't have ability block, THEN I can win in the end.How do you fight vs this team?Any ideas?

There is a similar thread in the forum already. This team is weak in this meta. All you need is QGJ for leader. At least 3 of your toons will attack before Poe taunt. So kill 86 first - he is scarrier than 88. 88 is 2nd target. When i fight this team, 86 and 88 are down before Poe's taunt. After this you can autocomplete the battle.

All you need to fight a droid team is speed and assist attacks. Use GS, QJG and Sid to help you kill 86 and 88. After those 2 are dead, the rest will be easy peasy.

You've never faced a high level droid squad, have you?Such a useless post.I'm facing high lvl droid teams everyday. Your 1000 lines post is waste of time, because your scenarios are unreal. I don't know how do you fight them, but i am crushing them everytime. 86 and 88 are down before Poe's turn. Everytime. If you run speed characters and can't do that, this means your team is not geared properly.

I run droids in arena. For any droid team you will need a fast DPS team that can do some serious damage before Poe taunts. For a Poggle led droid team you should focus down IG-88 first before Poe can taunt. GS will use swarm to inflict serious damage in the meantime but that is nothing compared to what IG-88 can do. IG-88's AOE can be devastating and can give your characters ability block. After 88 is down, if you think you can kill 86 before Poe taunts I say target him. If Poe has already taunted deal with him and kill GS before he can use swarm again. Regardless of who you killed first here go back and kill the other guy. Now all the other team has left is Poggle and Poe if you didn't kill him. Finish off Poe since Poggle likes to dodge a lot and then Poggle.

fight vs poe+poggle+geo+ig88+ig86 I use this team: I use Jinn(L), Yoda, Ashoka, Dooku & Lumi. I normally go after ig88 with Yoda & Ashsoka, then ig86 or GS with Jinn & Dooku. By the time Poe does his taunt is pretty much game over with just perhaps 3 or 2 left. You pretty much need the speed. Sometimes with Dooku you may be able to stun Poe but does not always work.

If you are taking down both, it doesn't matter. If you have to choose one I would choose IG-88. IG-88 AoE after Poe's multi-expose can be deadly and can put more than one toon in dead or dying category. Unless you have RG, your whole team will be wiped in 1-2 turns.

Saying "I have a maxed speed team that crushes droids if you can't do that then your team sux!" really isn't helpful advice.

I don't know what do you mean saying "OP". Probably you mean the guy who started this thread. So we clearly don't know what characters he is using. He didn't tell us. He wanted to know how to beat droid team and one of the answers is: use speed team. We gave him this answer, right? So i think this is helpful advice.
Now about this "fully geared" thing. You don't need to be "whale" and spending hundreds of dollars to have decent team. I'm absolutely FTP and using speed characters in arena. At this moment QGJ(6*), Limi(7*), Sid(7*), GS(7*), Dooku(5*). This is easy achievable for a month and a half for everyone. These 5 characters are faster than any of the opponent droid team char. So you have 5 moves(!) before he is able to do anything. I don't have other characters and i can't give some other advice about different tactics. But these toons are easy farmable for everyone and can ensure the victory against droids. That is my experience, i don't have any other. I think this is a good advice.
