For FO I'd take out tie and put kylo as 5th.
As far as better defensively, NS seem to do better from what I can tell

NS are slightly better defensively, plus with acolyte if the opp goes in without an AOE-er or loses them before getting rid of acolyte they're stuck with zombie permanently reviving and taunting. That said a well geared set of Kylos (You need both, do not use tie pilot) with FO Stormtrooper, FOX and FOO is very tough unless you have the right counters.

Hard to argue with NS being the better defense team. zKRU lead FO is a solid team at your level but NS can really stonewall people who don't have the right team to bring against them.

As for easier to farm, interesting question really. FO are heavy on cantina farms which are faster but your proposed team is also heavy on Guild store which is fairly slow.

NS on the other hand tend to be more in hard nodes which is slower but allows you more flexibility to work on other things as well.

In your team mix. If you go FO I would suggest you replace FO SF TIE with either Kylo Ren (not an accident he is in almost every FO team) or FO TIE pilot. In addition to being stronger characters they won't be such a drain on your guild currency which is needed for gear.

I agree that regulator Kylo should be in place FOSFTP. For NS team, think about using Spirit instead of Acolyte. As for defense, zetas make a big difference. If you have the two Kylo's zetaed, they can be quite a pain to take down for who you would be facing in Div 10. If you have a fast NS team, especially a fast zombie, they can be quite a pain to face as well. Your best bet is try to get both teams up and running and put them in different zones. A lot of GA is about balance. You want good defense, but also need teams for offense. Learn all the counter teams. Putting Geos on defense is a good strategy, but also assume your opponent is going to do the same.

I'm in Div 1, so I have to field eight defensive teams. I generally pair a strong team with an average team in each zone. I stick Geos and JKR in the back, hoping opponents will blow their counter teams on my front four. It is a mixed bag in terms of results, there will always be someone out there with a better roster than yours.

Thanks for the great advice! However, I would like to know why you suggest Spirit instead of acolyte? Acolyte can deal very high damage, as I’ve found out unfortunately first handed and possibly lead to an endless scenario where she enters stealth and zombie constantly revives. Not to mention that I find foresight a lot less useful now with quite a few abilities being unable to be evaded. However, I guess her stunning a lot can be useful in defence which works well with ventress and old daka doing the same

She provides an extra stun, TM and buff removal, and can be annoying to get rid of with her foresight constantly popping up. Acolyte doesn't really do anything except stealth and shoot.

Any savvy GA player is going to be wise to the Acolyte/Zombie cheese and bring the tools to deal with it. Spirit just brings more utility to the table, and thus more headaches for your opponent.

Also: agree with everyone who said to replace SF Pilot with Mask Kylo. You want him in there spamming Lash Out for much turnmeter funtimes.

Me, I use Kylo unmasked, Kylo masked, FOstormtrooper, both tie pilots. It usually takes them, sometimes 2 battles for them to beat so it depends. But if you have one Tie pilot you will need the other they work well together. I don't have good FOs, and it still takes them 2 battles most of the time. Once it took the guy 4 battles

FO for upcoming content

I also would go for NS over FO. But keep in mind Potential upcomming content and if you want to go for Jedi rey, FO ist also needed.
