Fleet Arena and mods and character stats

So I need to know:
Do:
1. +defense mods on pilots add to defense of ships?
2. +offense mods on pilots add to damage, crit chance of ships?
3. + health mods on pilot boost the ship health?
4. Does increasing the pilot's speed with mods increase that of the ship?
5. When an ability says, "All allies get this buff" does it mean all team members in that battle or just those that you are specifically aligned with, like Resistance are not rebel allies technically?

I guess I wasn't clear on this.
6. Does the character's individual stat contribute to that same individual stat of the ship?



Thanks, the teams on my server are insane compared to mine as I am on a 3 year old server, but to make adjustments as good as possible I need to know these things.

  • 1-4. Nope the only thing that matters on 5 for mods and level, mod stats do not affect ships. 5. All active members
  • Regarding #5, "all allies" means everyone on your team, regardless of faction. Any given ability will specify if it only applies to rebels, or empire, or light side, etc. (see R2's abilities for a good example of this).

    Gosh, that really changes how I.think about strategy.

    It means that the set, the primary stat, the secondary stats, none of it matters. All that matters is how many dots and what level.

    5. “All allies” means each of the 5 ships currently on the battlefield on your side, including the ship with the ability. It does not apply to capital ships or ships in reserve unless otherwise specified. Capital ship abilities that affect all allies will also affect reinforcements when they are deployed.

    Unlike characters, ships are more rigid in how they upgrade. With characters, mods affect many different aspects and can create a very customized profile. But none of that matters to ships. Ships benefit from upgraded mods with higher dot count, but a 5* level 15 mod of any type and with any primary and secondary abilities counts the same. The specific way mods affect ships is determined only by how the developers designed the ship. Each ship only upgrades according to how the developers designed it. And while everything about pilots affects their ship (stars, level, abilities, gear, and mods), they will all only upgrade the ship in one way: how the game designers set it up.

    Dots. As in when you go to your mods you have mods with 1 "dot" through 5 "dots".. you know like a 5 dot speed primary arrow has 30 speed, whereas a 4 dot only has 25 speed
