As others have said, you don't need Malak. I run my SEE with Traya, Vader, Moff Gideon, and Sith Empire trooper. Works just fine to climb against anything not SLKR. And I'm trying to see if I can get my Moff Gideon fast enough to go before Hux and see if that will let that team beat SLKR, but if not just throw GK on the team and bam, it'll beat SLKR.
