- Abilities matter where does this fit in? Have you noticed that OP?
- @Grandepatron Abilities have pretty negligible credits cost until the omega/zeta level. Getting the purples, Omegas and Zetas is the hard part, but they are like gear, you add them when you can.
However it would be interesting to see how the 43K-80K/omega and 100-145K per zeta stack up on a credit/GP value basis.
@Pyrefly do you happen to have that info in your spreadsheet as well? "Whindanser;c-1232129" wrote:

It will be an important part of TB- Nice @Pyrefly!

Omegas increase GP by 210 (so 205-381 c/p) and Zetas increase GP by a whopping 2406 (42-60 c/p). Honestly, by the level at which you can upgrade an ability to an Omega or Zeta, it's likely the best return on investment other than potentially increasing star level."Whindanser;c-1232471" wrote:

I realize that...but what makes it important
You need a certain amount of cumulative GP to earn stars in each territory. Only by getting at least one star in a territory do you unlock the one beyond. And your ultimate star rating for the entire map determines your rewards. So the amount of guild GP that you have to "spend" in deployment has a very direct impact on your guild's rewards from TB.
So how do you factor in pilots (or fleet commanders)? Does upgrading a pilot increase your total galactic power more than the same upgrade to a non-pilot? Is there a similar constant relation between upgrades and power boost.
The power rating of a ship depended to a large extent on the power rating of the underlying pilot. If that is still true for galactic power, then one might want to prioritize upgrading pilots? Of course maybe they count ship galactic power separately from other galactic power.
Thanks for working some of this out."stohelit;c-1234294" wrote:

Yes, pilots give more galactic power than non-pilots, and there's a tip @stohelit pilots like the tie's and wiggs that are ships of only 1 pilot, it counts even more than Phoenix, that are 3 per ship."stohelit;c-1234294" wrote:

Crew power is simply the pilot's GP multiplied by the ship's multiplier (determined by its star level). So if the ship is a 7*, then your pilot's GP will essentially count 2.5x the normal. Once for actual character, and another 1.5x the character's GP for the ship.
For two-crew ships, it takes 60% of each crew character's GP. For three-crew ships, it takes 40% of each crew character's GP.
FYI, I have a link in my signature to the spreadsheet I referenced earlier in this thread which breaks down what each upgrade is worth in terms of GP as well as the credit cost per point of power from each character level, star level, and mod level so you can figure out the most efficient way to upgrade your characters.- Awesome data Pyrefly and thanks for sharing.
Some of the stuff the limiting factor isn't credits (just being Capt Obvious).
