He's indispensable in my team and thanks to mods, I can overcome his speed and health shortfalls somewhat.

His damage looks way worse than ig88's in that video at least

@Murf_uK I tuned it down quite a lot to make him less brittle. I tend to use mods to overcome weaknesses rather than enhance strong attributes. So for droids, they usually get lots of health and speed. In all fairness, what you get from Grievous that no other droids offer is a guaranteed uncounterable hit - usually around the 10K mark with a reliable crit. It was very useful against Rey's foresight and any of the countless counter toons that inhabit the top 10. His laugh is only really useful in the later stages of the match or when you're not leading with 47. The taunt is useful on either B2 or 47 with the latter being preferable. He's also a monster in the Pit, especially in P1.

Overall, I'm happy that he's strong but not strong enough as to be unbalanced (like Rey for example). I think there may be some more attention given to him when his profile is raised in the AAT Raid. I doubt they'll see fit to nerf him. If anything, I expect him to get a bit of a damage buff on either his basic or AoE because, as you quite rightly pointed out, he's being outperformed by 88 in that regard.

Yea I was farming him I have at 4 stars but with the need for other teams for mods and events etc I stopped, hopefully I can start again soon as I only need a few more rebels to finish and 3 bounty hunters

He was totally worth my whale dollars. I have his gear maxed, so now I just have to build up his abilities and mods.

I've managed to get 60 shards for General Grevious , but I was wondering if he is worth the investment, I don't mean of money as the shards are free, but will there be any more characters avaliable in the shard shop worth hanging on for? Plus the free shards stop after Christmas so only a few weeks to decide .

Grievous is NOT worth the investment. I have him 7* and he’s unusable , don’t bother yourself with him.
