GK Chaze Wiggs vs the dark side

Hello to those who are currently running this squad in arena:

I was looking for some arena report action:

How are you holding up to the different type of Zader, EP, (with or without Kylo and fast boba as 5th) squad

i am looking on as much advice as possible using this squad in order to defeat the different Meta squad and what if important (besides speed secondary) Unfortunately mine are a bit below average in terms of + to speed

tks in advance
  • Against zader, Rex lead is MVP. I don't have chirrut but run Rex lead, baze, wiggs and boba against zader. (November 2015 shard). Rex is incredible against zader, whether the team had B2 or not. You could easily put in chirrut or GK for boba. (Personally, I don't like GK in that team).
  • i do know about the Rez Lead

My problem is that when i fall too low then i am swimming in Wiggs+Sthan and against them i feel a GK would be more beneficial then Rex (i can't confirm how it defends as i havent tried it).

The only solid problem Chirrut face is vs "Execute"
  • With a speedy Chirrut (faster than enemy TFP and Boba) you will cut through empire / Zader like a knife through butter. Open with his 'The force wills' and you can practicalt auto the rest. Yes, you will use his health equalizer at full health, but you won't need it later on anyway. On offense, you can even run a Lando/AA lead replacing GK, if you need the speed bonus from their lead to get ahead of enemy TFP / Boba. However, on defense...now that's another story. Your Lando/AA lead will be like a magnet for attackers. Remember to switch back to GK on defense.
  • Against a Zaul lead, remember that your Chirrut should be 25% above max enemy sith speed to go first.

Problem with having Chirrut go faster then TFP is that (unless lando or AA lead) you need great/god level mod (or having a speed set while TFP doesn't) to make up the base natural speed difference, since most likely your opposition will have their fastest mod on TFP (since they need him to go first in order to battle other Empire/sith team)

    Chirrut is 153 Base
    TFP is 170 base

Anyway on defense if there are no debuff present (ie Chirrut moves first) he will use his "Strenght of Purpose" attack instead of "As the force will"

Hence trying to find a solution since i have a bit below average +speed secondary mods. And asking about GK and people's experience with this light side setup
  • Since speed is important is also not a good advice like "if toon x go first, fight is easy" - if you only can go first because you have way better mods than your opponent this trick can't be replicated from other players here since they basically don't have the same mods (or other opponents).

The common situation is, that TFP is faster and will go before chirrut (both players have the same mod level) and the solution should not be "try to be faster" ;) and as you can see above, Lando/AA lead can work to push your speed but will tend to a "soft team" for other opponents that maybe instantly attack you unless you switch.
  • I cant handle zaul at all. I have a maxed wiggs, chaze team. usually there tfp and their EP go first, my speed mods give me (+) 93 on biggs when I set him up that way, top guys still have similiar/better mods to get their tfp and EP to go first.

if the other team has baze or b2 instead of full empire/sith then it is even worse b/c when you buff your team, chase will take it all/b2 attacks and cleanses it all. usually their vader will go after their b2 or baze so he will apply the dots.

Works the other way as well your chirrut uses his special second turn a very bad ai. So when I have to get back rank it's easy all I have to do is make sure my tfp is slower than your chirrut .
  • Well i have been running Rex lead all day. and i miss the bonus offense from Wedge lead.. my wiggs hit are definitely weaker (a lot harder to take out dual tank squad)

And then i run unto the problem of facing ennemy Sthan... (since he is still run on my shard)
