GW Character to unlock next

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to put together a resistance team for the speed mod challenge, get resistance pilot. If not, maybe hold onto that currency and see who pops up next in there. I'm already doing that with cantina credits.

I've been farming Cad Bane for scoundrel team.

If you dont have a full scoundrel composition, I vote in Cad Bane.

I have all the GW toons I'm interested in now. I'm slowly building to a bank of ~6400 tokens, and the rest will be converted to shard shop for Vader/JE/Maul (because I like him)/Raid Gear.

Why 6400? That's only enough to unlock a 4* character...

A full scoundrel team is important. I'd personally avoid buying gear in shard shop.

I would also vote for Cad Bane for the scoundrel events.

Cad Bane is pretty horrible. If you can't do the Credit Heist because you need more scoundrels, then maybe go with him. But avoid if possible. You would do better with Lando, St Han, Chewie, IG-88, Greedo/Dengar/Zam, in my opinion.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Dathcha. Yes, everybody is talking about speed, so naturally you would think "speed mods, must get a Resistance squad." But the max set bonus from speed mods is only 10%, which translates to a boost of 10-15, and requires 4 mods to get there. You can get the same or better boosts from mod primary and secondary effects. I think the real power is in the Crit Damage mods. A max set of 4 there gives you a 30% crit damage bonus, and that can be really big. But to get good Crit Damage mods, you need jawas, and that means Dathcha.

Get Dathcha and get after the Crit Damage.

Datcha, Cad Bane and Resistance Pilot are all viable for a specific part of the game. I would go with Cad Bane first if you don't already own 5 good Scoundrels.

Dathcha is a good get, but he only has Jawa to go with him. That's not going to do much on the mod challenge. I haven't finished leveling and gearing him yet, but I've found Datcha so so. He's probably the least among the five Jawas in my opinion.
