I just got home one to 7*
Ive been able to do this event for months, the key is don't auto it.
Ahsoka is important here because of her speed, she will go before the TIEs.
My main lineup is ahsoka g10, cassian g8 both, Rex g10, biggs g11 and wedge g10.
You have to abuse the protection up with assists mechanic of ackbar's ship often.
With this lineup I've almost never even had to call reinforcements.Ahsoka gives evasion up to another ally if she attacks a target locked enemy,which increases survivability of your ships and Rex's passive heals the team constantly.
For reinforcements I use umbaran, ghost and phantom, though they never had the chance to come into battle.
Edit: yeah I mistook this for 7* challenge, but I used the same lineup for 6* as well so it should be good
