So I went with Greedo and guess what? I BEAT TIER 2 of REBEL ROUNDUP WITH 13 MINUTES LEFT, GEAR VIII (except Bossk gear IX but six star)!!!!!!
Here’s a whole post I wrote about it. Thanks for the good advice. GREEDO ROCKED IT. IG-WHO?!
I
Just beat Tier II of the assault battle with lvl 80 bounty hunters with Gear VIII (Bossk Gear IX six Star) with ten minutes to spare in the event.
Because I am the Chosen One.
This has seriously happened the last four assault battles going back to Rebel Roundup tier I when it was last on the calendar.
At this point I’m starting to believe that the game makes it easier somehow in the last twenty minutes of the event.
But this isn’t true. I just honed the skill and maximized damage based on patterns with the built in extra turn special ability like I do every time.
God I’m good at Assault Battles.
I had all but given up on this one but was enjoying trying just for fun because I kept getting to 8/8. You’re supposed to have Gear X to complete this event, and it showed.
I won because I spent my five omegas today on Greedo 75% counter attack chance on payout with my 5 omegas rather than increasing Bossks taunt duration. It helped him stay alive and added immense damage.
Here’s some tips for the event itself:
1. Don’t worry about getting Bossk the damage increase by using his extra turn ability for kills. Use it when taunt and the net are on cooldown to simply get them back faster. If you can use it before a net and destroy a guy, good. It won’t give you the offense up but it will be one less enemy.
2. Use the Dengars extra turn as soon as it can give you grenades back. You’re hitting all enemies with multiple crits and you should get some kills for the offense ups. Use the stun in the downturn and save reg attack for getting the offense up by killing someone with very low health.
3. Forget about IG-88. He’s gonna die about 2/3 of the way through, which is actually fine because it allows you to focus on getting offense ups on Fett, Greedo and Dengar.
4. Use Greedos extra turn anytime you think he can kill someone and get offense up with his reg attack, even if it means a double shot. Take chances with that. Use Threaten to take as much turn meter as possible. Throw grenades when there are many healthy enemies Alice and you’re definirely not going to kill them.
5. Use Fetts extra turn to get back Execute that turn every time, which you should use on enemies with the most debuffs to maximize damage. If you can get a kill and offense up with an aoe, use the extra turn.
The key to the entire event is KNOWING in your heart whether that execute or Greedo attack is going to finish someone off. You must feel the force within and trust in your feelings.
By 8/8 I had 9 stacks on Fett, 8 on Greedo, 6 on Dengar, 0 on Bossk. Dengar was stealthed so R2 couldn’t cloak anyone. I used Bossks extra turn to gain taunt right away, then Netted one of the Adds to death. I ignored the pathfinder because it can Rez and set my sights for squishy Leia. Aoe broke the rest down. I made it a point to kill Luke next because he’s so powerful. Then Tano. Then R
3. Then the Pathfinder last.
Hope this helps and consider me as a skilled up and coming player when I hit endgame if anyone’s looking to form a guild for pros only. Thanks and I hope this helped.
