- You want to be spending donuts on mystery boxes. You will get Kearney, Blue Haired Lawyer, and Squeaky Voiced Teen pretty quickly and they all make a lot of money from tasks. Your multiplier for cash will go up, and you should also get Lard Lad buildings which are a quite decent source of income. Avoid event questlines and try to unlock as many characters as possible.
I wouldn't bother with the springfield downs, others may disagree, but in my experience the long term result is you get back what you bet in. - Castiel_ToukSeasoned NewcomerSending everyone on task, collecting income from building and doing race bets if you have them.
- MuhsterinoRetired HeroWelcome to the forum :) You can read some ways to make money (mainly in the first post) of this thread:

The tip about Sideshow Bob is particularly useful at the start of the game. - A rather simple and easy way to start building up your coffers is to send a lot of characters on 1hr/60m tasks. They won't give you much money (base 70IGC, 105IGC for Premium before any bonuses).
But, if you keep sending characters on these short tasks; your money will grow quickly.
Just remember to also harvest from your buildings as well, and happy tapping! ;) - anaquarindNew SpectatorFigure out how often you log into the game. Then build a bunch of buildings that match your play style. For example if you log in every 8 hours, invest in some blue houses. Keep in mind that the price increases the more of a particular building you have, so there are some diminishing returns. @muhsterino above has a fantastic link which give you all the info you need.
- Thank you :)

Seriously, there are a lot of ways. Being consistent in your collections is key. Know when your tasks end/ buildings are due and keep on them.
Also, to expand a bit on what @OhHappyJays said, use the shortest tasks possible that work with your schedule. A regular (non-premium) 1hr task pays out $70. A non premium 4hr pays $175. So if you do the 1hr task 4 times, it will pay you $280! Even 3 times ($210) would pay more then a 4hr!
And 4hr pays better then 8hr, 8hr pays better then 12, etc etc
Also dont buy a lot of land early on. Just jamb the buildings in whereever you can for now. You can make it pretty later when your financial situation improves.
Anything else feel free to ask away, pm me if you want to, I will help you however I can
And welcone to the fourms/game. You life will never be the same ;)"daved7637397;c-1703462" wrote:

I was going to say to buy a really good copier/printer and go that route.
Simple instructions; collect often, buy rarely, visit neighbors regularly, build up your multiplier before pretty decorations that don't add to it, play free side games (scratchers at KEM), and remember 'function over style'."spyder1952850;c-1703494" wrote:

Isn't that what the government does? Lol- Best advice here is don't buy land unless you have to and buy the land first that heads down toward the ocean because your going to need land down there to do squid port.
