Hi Guys,I am looking for advice to stay relevant in Arena and transition to better teams. I currently run Phoenix and place 25-35 in my shard. The shard is newish (high lvl is 78) and is full of Phoenix and Nightsisters.However, I know Phoenix won’t be relevant for much longer so looking on what I should farm next. Currently, I have been getting fine/good mods for Arena (missing all those stupid Speed arrows). My guild does HRancor but not HAAT yet so slowly working on RHan.I am passively working on Resistence as they are good in tank but I know they suck at holding. Additionally, I am passively working on Empire to get R2 + ships to be ready to get Tarkin and Zeta mats from the challenge.Anyways CLS seems very far away and GK is still a long way away so curious what are solid contenders to replace Phoenix or should I just keep them as long as I can and get them to G10/11. My shard is just a bit older than that, and most of the phoenix have fallen under 200, and its 90% wiggs/chaze at the top.

Nightsisters are here to stay on your young shard. Of you can beat them now, it wont be for very long.Chaze is your only hope right now to reliably beat them and eventually hold on defense.Go for rex lead, thrawn and dn should work for you.

You are in desperate need of scoundrels for credit heist....your arena squad level is being out paced by your player level. Lando is a fairly easy farm and excellent for that event as well as Boba.Understand that even when you reach level 85 you are only about mid-game and still have a long way to go. :wink: Thrawn is a good investment, so finish Hera and gear them all up to at least 8 (take both Hera and Ezra to 9 if you can). This will also likely net you a 7* Palpatine when his event comes around.TIE Fighter Pilot is useful in both raids, so along with Tarkin (excellent capital ship), Vader and the 2 legendaries you will have a good mid game Empire team for R2. Whether or not you want to eventually grind out Shore, Krennic and DT (for arena) is up to you, or you might later consider trying to farm Wampa for that team.You also might want to start working on your CLS Rebels: STH, Leia, Old Ben (Lando first) and Luke.As to the extent of Phoenix' Arena viability...sorry, I just don't know, but some of their zetas do look promising.

You may want to try a wiggs lando rebel squad you won't want Lando to use his aoe without r2 putting him in stealth against phoenix until you take out kanan. Leia and stormtrooper han can also work in that squad and are fairly easy farms plus they are needed for cls. Just working in the realm of rebels will keep you viable for quite some time All the characters mobewan mentioned are good to work towards but Darth Nihilus and baze are long hard farms and starting chirrut before you can start farming zetas reliably will use your fleet currency which will slow down your ability to get zetas

You may want to try a wiggs lando rebel squad you won't want Lando to use his aoe without r2 putting him in stealth against phoenix until you take out kanan. Leia and stormtrooper han can also work in that squad and are fairly easy farms plus they are needed for cls. Just working in the realm of rebels will keep you viable for quite some time

Rebels are good. I can beat most g12 nightsisters with wedge, biggs, han zolo, r2, gk, but there are some that i cant

Thanks for all the advice so far. I think the main thing is I will go for Biggs/Wedge + R2 + Thrawn and then a fill as GK will be a long way away.

I thought about Rex lead but since I have no DN shards he is such a hard farm to get to 7* that I dunno if its worth it. I will obviously casually work on him but to try and reliably farm from 1 hard node thats still a long way away doesnt seem like a valuable strat. I will probably have GK before him. Same thing with Baze. I may casually work on him not in Guild Wars but I think the above team might be more efficient and work towards CLS/GK instead.

Curious now as I am thinking about transitioning arena teams shortly from Pheonix to Wiggs. Who is good with them at my levels?

I can get Biggs and Wedge to 7* fairly quickly. However, who will be good with them? Thrawn will be 7* star next time event comes. However, for R2 I can get 5* but maybe 6* Is that good enough?

Also, who would round out the 5th? Is STH the best? Or will a tank not be required? I could plug in Ezra or Rey? Or is STH the best till GK?

raid han is great w/zeta. resistance also great w/ finn zeta. mbn to be on that shard tho

All phoenix are rebels. So they can get benefits from Wedge leadership. Hera can't function well if she is not a leader.

You can transition from phoenix to wiggs, Ezra(damage) Kanan (tank/cleanse) other

Then fillnoutnother slots as you can.

Yes, 5* or 6* is good enough for r2.

And you always need a tank, so if st han is your highest geared, use him until GK. Old ben would work as well if he is higher geared.

Wiggs, thrawn, r2, st han is a very good setup
I use wiggs, raid han, r2 and gk, but i dont have thrawn
