Yeah, it takes a while. So get started on it :P No reason to delay something you know you're going to do eventually anyway!

In the meantime, invest in her many counters--Old Daka, Royal Guard, Captain Phasma, Darth Sidious, IG-86, Geonosian Soldier, IG-88, Ventress, Qui-Gon Jin, and pretty much anyone who can assist or debuff or stun or do a lot of damage in one hit. It's almost like she has, like, a lot of counters and is kind of balanced or something within the context of the game as a whole...

Crazy.

Keep in mind that after the protection update fast characters don't hit as hard... and she's one of the fastest toons so she doesn't hit har... wait a minute...

Ah the May 4th bonus.

I wasn't using crystals then. Crystals are the great equalizer.

She is a fast farm and unlocks the game's easy setting.

I've been working on Rey since before spring break. It's taken me this long ugh still 98/100 so close. I say grind it. It'll be fun end game.

When was spring break? March? That's about 2.5 months. Yikes.

Thank you all for the responses. I have been farming her and now have 34 of 85 shards after just two weeks.

151 shards to go.

I am now now refreshing her hard nodes to make the final push. This should be about ten days of work. Very cool. All in all this about one months worth of leveling.

BTW I am top 10 (always top 20) arena even without her (no droids either) so the crystals used for her are still on EAs reward system.

When guilds were introduced, I did not have more than a few shards for her (just by doing her hard nodes the 1st time.) This was what? 2 months ago?

For over 2 weeks, I have had my Rey at 7*. So by doing her 3 hard nodes daily, and checking guild shipments every time you get bonus energy, you can go from no more than 5 shards of her to at 7* in about 6 weeks now. Without ANY refreshes. I did it. There are a couple in my guild who are ticked at me because they spent MONTHS and MONTHS to 7* her. And I got my Rey to 7* in about 6 weeks.

If you already have 50 shards, that is 10 guild shipment purchases you wouldn't have to make. I would give it 4 weeks. Maybe 5. But you HAVE to check the shipments multiple times daily. Every time you get bonus energy, check those shipments.

Its so strange for me to not be buying her now. I really can't believe it took me such a short time. But it did.
