Anything that's slow and kinda squish will be limited in this game given the bias toward offense. I do think his leader skill may be a viable tactical tool down the road, if not now, possibly at some point. I like stacking AOE too so....with RG out there now he can be protected.

With GG in your team your other AOE Sources will eventually taunt for him. That's the opposite of protection or am I missing something?

(If RG and GG are in one team, And GG is hurt below 50%, RG and another (!) Char taunts...)

Well, stacking AOE means just that - a team of AOE toons. The taunting can be okay because there are two extreme options for AOE...fast and squishy (Sid / Yoda). They will hit before GS / Rey, etc. so they will get their hits off regardless of the opponent in most cases. Then you have tanky AOEs - Snowtrooper, Kylo, Phasma, Vader, and JKA (he's actually best of all words - fast, tanky, and AOE). The idea of GG is to spread damage around. So if GG has been targeted, that means he's attracted fire and something else hasn't. If Yoda / Sid have already popped their AOEs, if they are killed after that due to taunt...no big loss. If GG has been targeted and forces fire to a tanky AOE, unlikely that the enemy will have enough hits left to kill that tanky aoe in most cases...especially if you're using GG as a leader and he's suppressing enemy offense.

Honestly, with his random taunt, I probably wouldn't even bother with RG. I'd likely just use Sid / Yoda as fast aoe to get their hits off, GG self protects and then I'd use some mix of the tanky AOEs as the 4th / 5th toons. Probably JKA and Kylo maybe...the 5th I'd have to play with to see maximum effectiveness and it would depend on the opponent. In that setup I'm not worried about Yoda / Sid as their speed protects them and ensures they move. Then a tanky aoe is in good position to survive anyway if they have targeted GG. GG has some skills to work with - he's not outright OP, but he's not trash.

So use your GG (L), Sid, Yoda, JKA, Kylo Team in Arena then! I don't see any GG teams out there...

The char is "trash" is a question of definition.
My definition is: when u can't use a char (that rare and hard to obtain) in arena, he is more than trash. He is a kick in any whales butt.

Just tried your setup against an Sid Arena team in Offence! And got badly slaughtered. I can only imagine how it would perform against an QGJ Team...

I am really hoping the Instinct Guys find something good (=to use him in arena) about GG that I didn't see so far ...
