Is CLS the same as bespin Luke?
To me he looks the same and if he is... Why no jedi tag? I mean when he left for bespin he never got any more jedi training, that I am aware of, cuz when he came back to dagobah yoda died very soon ...

Yes but it was not planned. The council did not send qgj and ob1 to assassinate maul, only to unravel the mystery of the sith. When obiwan gave into the darkside after his master was killed, and maul used that against him to send him into the pit, he calmed down and overcame the dark side, and calmly cut maul in half. This was better than any planned trial could be and yoda and the council agreed he be promoted to the rank of knight. It was never about killing a sith, it was about facing your worst fears and overcoming the dark side.
I'm sure killing the first sith in over 1000 years played some small role in their decision making
How technical are we getting here? Maul wasn't really a Sith -- Sidious never had the intention of making him one, but rather use his natural abilities to accomplish certain things he needed. Maul was bestowed the title 'Darth' just to appease him
