Is Garazeb Orrelios a good counter for Count Dooku?

I'm in the middle of the game right now at level 58. I've rarely played against a Dooku team. But I'm probably going to go against a Dooku team in the future. You can't get any damage on Dooku because of that pesky counter attack. I found Zeb, and he dazes on his basic attack. But I don't know if Zeb is good enough overall. Will Zeb actually work against Dooku, or is he too underwhelming?

  • It truly depends on the team built around him. But his protection regain makes him good also he is easy to farm.
  • If you build a phoenix team he works great against dooku. But Chirrut or Wedge + Biggs works a lote better to oneshot dooku. Maul daze works as well again dooku. Or any toon that can stun. Zeb without his phoenix allies wont be really that effective.
  • Leia is also quite effective against Dooku since stealth prevents retaliation.
  • While no good for arena, in GW, run a teebo lead plus whoever. He stealths everybody. Attack Dooku with stealthed allies and everybody else with unstealthed allies. Plus teebo can dispel their tank.
  • Or you can farm K2. He also dazes on his special and calls Cassian to assist. That duo has good synergy too and are maybe more useful at long term than Zeb. And even if Daze misses, K2 will taunt and roll with the punches of Dooku.

K2+Cassian are the weakest link of a full R1 team.

Jyn- zJyn makes chaze teams invincible, TMR for rancor, exposes for cassian, Advantage for Chirrut, revives
Chaze- nuff said. Hots, counter, speed down, dispel, buff reversal, high dps
    Cassian: stacking debuffs
    K2: 2nd taunt, Daze

clearly K2 and Cassian highly rely on Jyn leadership, or in K2's case, zJyn leadership. My advice for R1 is that unless you want Chaze don't bother.

But OP's problem is to have a counter for Dooku, not to have a R1 team.

Stealth works well against Dooku. As does stun. Another good idea is to utilize toons that call an assist, so you can double up the damage against Dooks prior to his counter.
Zeb is not considered a GREAT toon, he is needed to unlock Grand Admiral Thrawn in the future. So building him a bit won't be totally pointless. I have found his potency seems low though (at least, it did in the Thrawn event). But I would probably look at Teebo for lead, along with toons like Aayla and RG for the stuns.

    And he's got a ship.
