You are wrong. They definitely do because it's an ability level which is in the formula to determine power which increases your stats. Speed, damage, armor etc.

Zetas add like 2k power to your ship, it will buff it, but in the grand scheme of things that buff os trivial compared to the cost. I personally feel that if you zeta someone strictly for ships you are doing yourself a great disservice. If you are down to choosing between putting a zeta on 1 of two characters for non ship reasons, then by all means pick the pilot.

Crazygone, all your images prove is you are all running rng based teams and the person with less power was smart enough to use the faster capitol ship to give them a leg up on everyone else

Then what you need to be looking at is percentages. That fleet had about a 25% advantage over me which I would say is significant but not outrageous. If I could beat fleets 40-50% higher I would be getting concerned, even knowing how vague the power rating is.

It really depends what stats are affected.

No, you are using gp as t2be determining factor for how good a fleet is. I can kill 100k power from my fleet and fet 1st everyday, just like i can now. Why? Because i never use reinforce slots 3 or 4. Ever. so my gp is bloated by 100k
