Jolee revive broken on isolated Jedi?

Isolation is supposed to prevent positive effects. In the list they have revive as one of those effect, but Jolee revived GMY and Revan in two separate battles when they had died while isolated. Maybe I’m reading the post wrong? But I reads like enemies that have died while isolated can not be revived. If that’s the case Jolee’s kit is bugged.

Four things to consider here:
1. Isolate from character Traya is different from Isolate from Raid Traya, so the verbiage surrounding revives is different.
2. Character Isolate only prevents Revive if it's not the isolated character's turn (a great example is a Sion with Held by Hatred who dies from a counterattack will revive himself).
3. Once the character has died, they are no longer considered "Isolated", so the "can't be revived on someone else's turn" clause is no longer relevant.

4. Characters that die with Isolate do not get the "Cannot ever be revived" tag that is applied to characters killed via Annihilate, Terminate, Execute, or with Deathmark.

The link I posted is for traya’s pvp kit not her raid boss kit. It lists revive has a positive effect that isolation prevents.

It could be poor wordage (wouldn’t be the 1st time that’s happened) to me the discription either needs to be changed to reflex what’s happening in the game. Are they need to change the way isolated hero’s react to revive stay dead lol either why I’ll be happy.

Nowhere in the wording of isolate does it say "can't be revived".

As jkray622 pointed out: Boba's Execute, Deathtrooper's Terminate and Nihilus' Annihilate all specifically state "can't be revived".

I’m not talking about the wording in the gsme. I know the kit does not say outright they can not be revive. I’m talking about the list of positive status effect the forum post says that isolate prevents.

Isolation: Can't gain buffs*; can't attack or gain positive effects out of turn; allies can't attack or gain positive effects during this unit's turn. Used against Raid Bosses: Can't gain buffs; characters attacking this unit gain Critical Damage Up and Health Steal Up for 1 turn

*Positive effects include:
Turn Meter Gain
Health Recovery
Protection Recovery
Assist Attack
Buffs
Revive <———————————————-
Ally Dispel
Health Equalization
Cooldown reduction

Sense revive is on the list as a positive effect and you can only be revived after the unit has been killed. Revive should be prevented while that unit is isolated.

Unless it’s wasn’t supposed to be included from the start. And if that’s the case it needs to be changed to avoid confusion.

Not having Traya, maybe it refers to revives like SRP has? What about Backup Plan or Hunter's Resolve? Do those still work under Isolate?

Jolee bringing someone back turns after they've died doesn't seem to break the rules, since once they die they're not under Isolate anymore.

Ultimately it's just poor wording on the forum post.

A dead character does not have any debuffs (including Isolate). It appears that the Isolate does not immediately fall off the dead character until after the "can this character be revived right now" check (for characters that self-revive like SRP & Sion).

Currently, the only status of which I'm aware that applies to any dead characters is the "cannot be revived" tag applied by Annihilate, Deathmark, Terminate, and Execute. Many players confuse this function with the raid Isolate due to the "cannot be revived" tag that is applied in the raid, because they expect it to behave the same.

Since a dead character does not have Isolate, the positive effects prevented by Isolate are no longer prevented, and the character can be revived later.

I’m ok with the way jolee works. I just want them to change the wording to “self-revive”. The way it is written now is not correct with the what’s happening in the game.

Interesting post... Today i had one battle against a revan+jolee team and observed the following: I isolated gmy, killed him and he did not revive with revan's savior ability. Later, jolee revived gmy so i killed him again and this time he could revive thanks to savior so i had to kill yoda one more time.
From what i have read here, i guess it is working as intended.

Isolate is completely busted and inconsistent. I had a list going at one point of things that weren’t working as described. Nothing was ever addressed. A lot of errors occur when you have Traya vs Traya IIRC. For example, if Traya is isolated she will still dispel buffs from Sith during their turn. That makes sense, because it isn’t Traya’s turn, but it isn’t consistent with an isolated Sith ally other than Traya not being able to dispel debuffs from them during their own turn.

I can transfer TM with Thrawns special to DN if he is isolated. also I had revan Isolated and GMY still was saved by savior.
