I wonder,could a Rex lead team with R2,Han Solo,GK and Barris be enough to defeat a JTR lead?Empire are worthless against a team like that.

If Thrawn fractures JTR, that makes things relatively easy.
Ultimately, it comes down to secondary speed stats on your mods. A CUP/Pao team could beat JTR if they have a big speed advantage.
