That crit chance mod has the potential to jump to 20 speed secondary, although a rather small one. Provided it's the speed stat that gets boosted, it can increase with 3-6 speed.
I'd definitely slice that one to gold and if the speed increases I'd slice it to 6 dot. If it stays at 14 speed, it might still be worth it to slice that mod to 6 dot, if you have no other high speed secondary mods to prioritise.

Yes slice it, it's a nobrainer. It might not be a god-tier mod for your arena team, but otherwise that is a good mod, even if it doesn't upgrade speed. There are things like GA, TW, and pve content you know ;)

His odds of getting a 20 in particular are low though - even if it's 25% to hit 3, 4, 5, or 6 (and I doubt the odds are even for those), you have to hit both the speed upgrade and the 6 speed jump. Getting both in that circumstance is, what, 6%?

Ah good point, I was just thinking of the chance for it to increase, not to hit 20.

This can’t possibly be correct.

25% chance to upgrade speed, but doubt it’s 25% chance to hit speed +6

I don’t know the actual algorithm used, so you might be right, just doesn’t seem right from experience slicing mods.
