"Must have" Toons?

Teebo is high priority for raids, QGJ for many things, healers for GW.

it depends really on the combo, i mean i use sun fac, phasma, luminara, kylo, and fives which does well, but it depends on your combo and it will change often

I'm not saying some heroes aren't better than others, bit for example someone could say that you need Luminara for GW. This isn't true. You can use other healers.

Just like you said Qui Gon Jinn is a must have. Why exactly? I do fine without him. One can rank high in arena, complete Galactic War and rank high in raids without him. So why exactly is he a must have?

In arena, it really depends on how high you want to go. Almost all top 10 teams are exactly the same. But you can still easily get top 100 without using any of those characters.

I'd say there's not so much "must haves" as "must avoids" in this game. There are just a bunch of really bad, unusable characters.

I agree with the Turtle. There aren't any truly essential characters. Some are better than others, true. But you don't really need them. I don't have Leia, QGJ, Daka, Rey, Dooku, Old Ben, Geo Soldier, or even Darth Sidious (who everybody has) and I'm doing pretty well. If your goal is #1 on the Arena ladder, then yeah you might need some of them. But they aren't required to do well. I can get in the top 20, maybe higher if I wanted to spend crystals. Just build the characters that interest you; chances are, they will be useful.

My QGJ is vastly under geared....do not need him for pvp. Teebo does the same thing with more HP
