Seriously, your guild is bad. If it's taking them a week to finish a tier 2 raid, this is not a guild you want to be in. There's a guild recruitment forum here, check it out and find a good guild.
Yes, this is not the type of game that you can play continuously. You run out of things you can do in a day fairly quickly. Later on there will be more things to do that you don't have access to now (territory battles and territory wars - assuming you get in a better guild that is), but they still won't occupy you all day long.
