Negotiator Counters

@Presaria keep knocking them down to red, only kill anis ship when his buff isn’t on, I beat the 5* in my shard 3 out of 4 times with standard ackbar falcon.. not looking forward to 6* but it will be what it will be

Well, Acbar have hard times now. We have a guy who placed in top 5 each day with acbar. But, he has his fleet at 500+k power, with all toons at g13. And he is refreshing like crazy, doubt he has any profit in such climbing, as he has no chance on defense, even with such a fleet.

The only option is to use other fleet. Negotiator is an anti assist capital ship.
But... there are no other capital + ships that can be as effective as the one you're using against other teams in the top.
So, basically it's a dead end at the moment as you are fighting against an almost hard counter.
A good simile would be using ewoks against Nest. You may win, but odds are weighted against you even if you're using g13+7 ewoks

Maybe not entirely relevant to OP, but Ackbar isn't the only option vs Negotiator. Bugs work fine under Thrawn as long as Fives is in Negotiator's starting lineup. Fives will target Spy (assuming spy is weakest in your lineup), allowing you to almost 1-shot Anakin. Anakin will be saved by Negotiator. Then just wait until you can reinforce with an aoe unit to finish off Anakin. Battle is easy from there.

Probably isn't the optimal lineup, but it has a 100% win rate for me, so I haven't had any reason to look for alternatives.

Did you slack on your crew's gear? I've had zero losses against the Negotiator. As soon as you drop Anakin their damage output vanishes.
