Whether or not Nest is more valuable on defense is extremely debatable (coming from somebody using her on defense currently).

Slow Tenacity Nest being able to solo teams for increased banners, as well as the ability to save an entire additional team for either offense or defense, is nothing to scoff at. You might not view it as pragmatic, but plenty do, it just depends how well-rounded your roster is and the level of competition you’re facing. Not to mention, it eases the strain of offense/speed mods, which I find are always in short supply.

I like Nest on defense currently as it typically forces my opponent to use their DN or JKR there, which then allows me to place defensive teams strategically behind her.

Precisely to deal with Malak and Nest.

I personally really like the potency build on JKA, I’ve tried extensively with Health, Offense, CD, mixtures of all sorts. The potency build is my favorite for consistently killing Malak.

Can she counter Padme? I'd of thought all the counter attacks she does would work against her.

Qira led Hoda R7 Nest counters R7 Padme. It's an expensive trio that pays off bannerd in the long-run

Ya i've seen some posts about it in the past, but didn't need it then. With her stacking crit chance, she'll crit almost every counter, and as buffs or debuffs expire, she'll gain 2% crit damage and health steal stacking until the end. If she is beefy enough she'll just start one-shotting the counters.

There are videos of R7 nest soloing full R7 Padmé teams. It’s my understanding that a properly modded Nest can solo equivalent Padmé teams at relic levels.

Stack up on Tenacity and Health with Crit Damage triangle. As stated, after enough counters she’ll start OHKO toons. Put the battle on 4x auto (Basics) from the start to get as many counters in as possible.

Add Farmboy lead for extra tenacity if you need it, followed by HY for increased tenacity, offense, and defense with GMT if you’re timing out or dying.

Stacking protection up. Courage stacks operate like separate attacks, not 1 big attack iirc.

Precisely, it’s a mechanic that isn’t obvious at first. Once you realize that each 5 stacks dispelled is a separate attack, it has a lot of implications across the game.

In fact, Nest’s stacking Protection Up out-paces the stacks of courage discharge... check the descriptions carefully.

All of the R7 Nest beating R7 Padme that I have seen were with Qira lead and Hoda helping
