Newbie - need help

Hi guys, I now have 5* Lando, 5* Ackbar, 5* Luke, 5* Biggs and in the process of farming ST Han, but I'm wondering if it's not better to have K2SO as a tank for the EP event...Any thoughts? He seems to do more than ST Han.

St Han will do just fine I found the event to be way too easy to beat just make sure your gear and abilities are up you will do fine with that team. Eventually I would switch to a wedge lead and drop Luke unfortunately he is your weak link in that team. Just imo

Thanks for the advice you both...I'm glad you can relate to my situation...I guess I'll stick with ST Han for now. K-2 seemed appealing with the counter attacks. I'll make sure I get the gear to level 6. Level 7 seems to take forever right now with XP level 59 and eventually it's not the team I want to keep. I wonder how many shards I'll be able to get from the emperor palpatine event. Will I be able to even unlock the character after the event?

Thinking about the squad he wants at level 85 isn't a bad idea though. For example, JC and Lumi are great to have decently geared and fully starred in order to unlock Yoda, if Jedi are your persuasion. They are both killer mid-game GW characters. If you prefer Sith, then as stated a rebel squad to get through the light side battles and unlock Emperor Palp would be good.

Right now, the squad teams I had in mind for top levels were:

Rex(L), Boba Fett, Emperor Palpatine, Chirrut and Royal Guard (to be replaced by Baze maybe in the future) or
Rex(L), Darth Nihilus, Emperor Palpatine, Chirrut and Royal Guard .

Not sure if the second option would work too.

By the way I read that ST Han is very fragile and doesn't have a lot of health as a tank. I don't have any healers in my current rebel team.

Hey guys, do you have any tips on the fleet battles? I just reached lvl 60 and don't know what ships to go for.

Before getting to ships, I'd say keep farming StHan, Boba and Lando for the credit heist, you'll not regret it, free credits and a ton of them. Even if Han isnt in your arena team, the credits you'll gain by having him geared and levels for credit heist will help you progress other characters so much faster. Believe me, as you level up you'll really feel the credit crunch as each level costs more than the one before.

As for ships, try Rex, Boba, Biggs and JC for a start since you have the toons well developed already, or are working on developing them. Geo soldeir is an easy farm (ships and shards) and does some decent dmg in both battles and ships. Ashoka is another good ship to farm, as is vader, now that his shards and ship are available in fleet shipments.

Alright...ST Han it is....

With regards to the ship, should I go for Adm. Ackbar, Mace or Tarkin as fleet leader? Is it worth to buy one of those fleet starter packs? I read somewhere that you need Tarkin for zetas(??).

In regards to arena, a high damage output could be Rey... if you choose. Her only thing is she really can't take too many hits. If you use her, I'd suggest slapping Hella health and defence on her. Maybe some critical avoidance.

Thanks for the advice. I now see a power up pack for a Jedi bundle, Anakin or QGJ bundle.
The Anakin one seemed appealing...you think I should buy that one?
