That Phoenix suggestion is an interesting new idea I may look into but I feel like the nonsense of this synergy in nightsisters means I won't be beating any team of them for a while.
Phoenix are bad against Nightsisters in my experience, but they open up a lot of the game early on which is why they are popular as a starter team. They give access to Thrawn and his ship (worth the investment for that alone), can be used for the Palpatine event, provide two Jedi for the Yoda event, are needed for territory battles and their ships are part of the current meta.
