What about Jedi Anakin. Now he is overpowered !
I keep hearing this but never have trouble with him really - I realised early on that you have to focus him down first and he's easy to deal with. Some teams you have to use a certain amount of crowd control on and especially since Anakin's a jedi, there are a bunch of toons specifically armed to take him down.
Hahahaha... Really? "I learned very early on that you have to focus him down first & he's easy to deal with"... Now with Rey I learned very early on that you have to focus her down first & she's easy to deal with... But yet you find Rey OP & not Ani. What... The... Fluffers...
You just used the same words anyone else defending Rey does & you don't find irony in that?
Rey is single target burst with no lasting side effects, Ani can blast a whole team to Hoff & still have so much health left that it takes 1-2 full team turns to burst down. Your argument in regards to Rey has just fallen flat on its face!
How exactly do you focus down Rey when she tends to go first and gains foresight?
You're right, how did I not see that she gains foresight forever? How could I be so blind?
To clarify his point... Foresight lasts one turn. If Rey has foresight you either (a) with a strong attacker, attack someone else for a turn, or (b) with a weak attacker or AOE character, attack Rey, making foresight go bye bye so that you can knock her out the next turn. In addition, Rey has two strong attacks that both have 4 turn cooldowns. If you are any good at all, she will never use either of her strong attacks more than once clbecause she will be dead within 4 turns.
No offense, but those that are complaining about Rey seem to be giving zero consideration to basic tactics. She is super easy to kill, and cant hurt you when she is dead.
Bud I was being sarcastic in that post.
I know E, but I think your sarcasm was lost on others so I was trying to clarify the point that foresight doesnt last forever...it only lasts until you hit Rey and then she goes down."Daker;598287" wrote:

No offense but if she's so "super easy to kill", why almost every team has her? Why ppl just refuse to replace her with some other character, which is not "so easy to kill"?"Martianski;598647" wrote:

rey & qgj are both super usefull on offence, not so much on defence."Zooey;598736" wrote:

Lets be clear. If shes good at killing, than shes not "so easy to kill", right? If you can easely kill a char, then this char is bad, noone will play it and you can always replace him with better one. Strange thing - noone is doing this, noone is replacing Rey. Ppl are doing exactly the opposite - whenever and wherever, someone is giving his place to Rey. Right? Silly people, eh?"Martianski;598753" wrote:

No it's more like she's there so if you don't kill her or fail at killing her, she kills you. And as we all know, RNG is pretty much the best form of defense. My Ackbar team, for example, will usually win or have a good shot to win if Ackbar gets TM when called by Leia and thus gets to feed his tac genius to Rey but is a lot weaker if it doesn't proc and Phasma/QGJ/Lando gets the tac genius. This has nothing to do with Rey's survivability, just the fact that she does a ridiculous amount of damage.
Most other teams have Rey on defense for a similar reason. Yeah it's "easy" to kill her, but if you screw up by popping RG taunt, missing, or some other reason, she punishes you hard.- If your hope is on RNG, i would not call this "easy to deal the problem".
- Rey is a liability to leave on defense. Against droids she won't take a 95% of the time. Droids are Meta and as a synergy team overpowered. Most of this discussion is already outdated. You guys might as well be discussing Sidious or Poe.

Three reasons. #1 She is great on offense. With the right team to protect her, she has great DPS and can help you do well in the arena. The trade off of course is that on defense, AI does not play her (or her defenders) well, so she is easily taken out.
#2 Because she is good on offense, she is also good in the GW and other non arena battles. Leveling Rey helps you play the non arena game as well.
And #3, because it is Rey, arguably the most popular char in the new Star Wars movie.
I like Rey, because there are many ways to build a team around her. I think she encourages diversity in may ways, the alternative being people farming boring droid or ewok teams or running the exact same phasma/ben meta (because without Rey, your big dps is down to Leia or GS).
Personally, I run Rey with two tanks and then rotate the other two chars to try different things.
