Pondering a post series
I like writing guides for the sake of writing guides, but I have no desire to restart my YouTube channel.
Was pondering making a series of posts here, with the intended audience of new players, each one regarding a specific character, probably starting with the light side hard node characters in order. An example post follows:
Rey (Scavenger)
aka SRey, ScavRey, Stick Rey
Overall rating: 2/4 (Niche uses)
New player summary: skip
Why build: requirement character for Raddus, JTR, Rey, and JML, crew member
Where acquired: LS1A, DS5D, Guild (Avg)
The good: 2nd special hits hard
The bad: no utility except for daze from a zeta that’s probably not worth it
Generally:
Name obvious
Nicknames obvious
Overall rating (1 is garbage like Lobot, 2 Is characters with some uses like SRey, 3 is good but not great like Range Trooper, 4 is outstanding characters like Vader.
New player summary is either skip (no early game uses), possible (early game uses but depends on other characters), build (stuff like Bossk that you’d be a hipster to skip).
Why build is obvious.
Where to acquire is obvious.
The good is why they’re useful.
The bad is why they’re not.
Anything I should add? Trying to keep these short, will aim at 1/day.
