Raid Han - Why does he sometimes hit three times on his basic?

As the title says - I have been fighting numerous Raid Han solos now and on many occasions he tripple taps when using his basic. What gives?

Am I missing something or misread something from his kit? His unique states "The first time Han uses his basic he attacks again dealing 50% less damage"

I am 100% confident that he is not countering through his own counter or through CLS lead as I am watching carefully. On his turn, without being attacked, he has hit a single character 3x with his basic?

Am I maybe looking a the animation wrong? Or am I not understanding how he works?

Can someone please enlighten me!

  • I just had a Han hit me three times. Maybe it’s a counter plus a turn plus a follow up zeta attack?

I have seen this and I know it is not because he is using his special attack first. He did it on a counter attack. I hit han with my han and dropped his tm and he hit back three times and killed me.

Did your Han double tap the opposing Han? If so, he would counter twice, plus have his bonus attack.
  • I think y'all are misunderstanding. Not three consecutive moves but he literally does 3 attacks (more if attacking with Leia) when an enemy attacks him with two basics. Such as your solo, or an ezra. What happens is he does one attack, gets his double tap to pair with the first, then attacks again countering the second basic attack inflicted on him
