Rebel Team Vs. Rouge One

Rogue One.

It's just the better team.

R1 has 2 tanks instead of 1, aoe dispel vs. no dispel, more survivability and far better heals. They heal health and prot.

May take them a turn or 2 more for a kill, but u can't have everything.

Red 5 standing by...

Based on all the fancy stuff added to new Toons, compared to ones created a year ago, I'd go with Rogue One Toons.

Rogue one has better synergy. Wiggs might be a great attack combo but chirrut & baze are amazing together and sure to outlive most rebel teams.

Why not both? Get Wiggs and Chaze, slap your Rex on that as the leader and you're good to goo.

I'm starting to see a lot of Rogue One teams in my second account's arena so I put together a team to take it down.

Lando (L), STH, Boba, Phasma, Barris.

I put all of my best speed mods on Boba to make sure he go first and then StHan so he can get his taunt up quickly. Then I just spam Lando's and Phasma's AoE (usually lands 2-3 speed down on them), forcing Baze and K2 to counter against StHan and feed me TM. After that I drop Phasma's victory march so basically my main damage dealers gets almost 3 whole turns while the enemy are still on turn 1. By this point Chirrut and Cassian/Jyn would be dead from Lando's AoE and Boba's execute/double tap so it's just a matter of mopping up.

Granted this account is on a shard that's level 60-65 currently so we will have to see what happens as they hit higher levels. Probably won't work as well but I'm close to unlocking Wedge so it looks like I'll be making changes to my team anyway.

Now this I fully agree with! Almost all of my teams have one or two great combos + another character. Gets me through most obstacles.

So it would be what? Wiggs, chaz, Rex, Jyn and Chirru?

Rebels have such good characters that there is no one right answer. I typically switch mine up between:

-Jyn Lead
-Wiggs
-Chaze

-Wedge Lead
-Biggs
-Jyn
-Emp Palp
+ A healer (rebels are pretty squishy health wise but with a wedge lead they regain health almost every turn soooo....feel free to sub this out for another toon.)

Believe it or not Palp & Jyn have worked incredibly well together for me. Once Palp mass shocks Jyn comes in with her Truncheon Strike and robs their turn meter before they come out of stun leaving them stunned for another turn.* There are ways around this however which is why I always target cleansers first. *

Jyn (L), Chirrut, Baze, GK, R2 would b your best bet. GK converting debuffs to buffs and Chirrut popping buffs...so much prot regen + 2 cleansers and aoe dispel. Don't forget double tank and crit immunity...yum.
