Maybe I am still shell shocked by my traumatic experiences with wiggs when I was leveling up, (I had the misfortune to start playing just when the devs decided that it would be a good ideea to give Wedge for free to ios users, so I had to face them way before reaching level 60) but R2 helping Wiggs to become once again the meta is my greatest fear in the game. I despise Wiggs so much that I refuse to even farm Wedge, and I would prefer to quit playing the game if owning him was the only way to advance in the game. Anyway to me, with good reason or not, the combo Wiggs R2 Chaze is the one I fear the most from all rebels.
But to me it seems that the OP didn't ask what is the best rebel line up, he only asked what generation of rebels is better, even though Jyn is in both teams. Well, since the only thing worse in the game than Wiggs is Chaze (and yeah that is including Dooku retaliation and dodge meta, or Zaul in general), I have to chose the R1 team.
Now that I got that of my chest let me go watch again New Hope just so I can cheer when Biggs dies.
