ReDirection Please

Hey all. Been playing for a year now and I am sort of stuck and could use some advice on where to go next. I'm thinking of going for Sith Eternal but not sure. I also have 3 zetas saved up and not sure where to throw them. Thanks.

  • Relic Jkr toons, prolly JKR, Jolee and GMY. Get Malak. Relic Sith Empire team. Then either pursue more teams, like shaak ti clones to help generate raid gear, or push up your CLS squad. Before you pursue any GLs, you need to have some squads that can do good in the HSTR.
  • Specifically preparing for HSTR is nonsense, after relics you can use almost any teams. Besides, JKR, DR, and clones all do good damage in HSTR and you'll get them all for other purposes anyway.

My advice is to just build towards your favourite punchy squads and otherwise just enjoy the game. I've had SEE for a couple of months myself now and he's quite worth it.

So pursuing teams that have a use in an important gear source is nonsense, but blindly going after "cool" toons is better? Gotcha.
It depends on what they want out of the game.Plenty of teams, like JKR, Clones Bounties and NS have uses in many game modes other than HSTR.

I disagree. JTR for HSTR P1 is great and her and BB8 and R2 win many GA battles defensively for me.

CLS Finn team still solos HSTR on autoplay.

NS for P3 are perpetually going to make TW walls.

There is 0 reason to not up these 3 HSTR teams.

I assume you mean CLS/Finn solos Tank and not HSTR, unless you are only talking about one phase. I don't think you are soloing the whole raid without SLKR.

If the OP is going for any GL, I would go for SLKR first. By far the best bang for the buck out of the four.

No, rather you pursue teams that have uses outside as well as within HSTR. See HSTR is at a point now that specifically tailored teams are obsolete, because you know relics happened and new mechanics were added in the form of new teams. Every sensible player should build towards a fully relic Shaak Ti clone squad to beat the Geo TB special mission. That same squad will coincidentally **** all over p1 and p2 of HSTR. Nearly all the teams you need to relic for end game activities like Geo TB and GL/Legendary+ unlocks, will also do a lot of damage in HSTR. Not to mention the characters you end up unlocking.

So you see my point, spending lots of resources to gear up and relic teams specifically tailored for HSTR will only really bloat your GP and veer you off-course from more important goals like the aforementioned character unlocks. Most newer squads will do well anyway in HSTR if they have relics. The raid is simply old and trivial at this point.
