Rex lead. Will it ever end?
So Maul had a brief run at the top before getting a hard counter in R2 - and arguably Rex was already a counter to zMaul anyway. So how come Rex just keeps rolling on and on seemingly without end?

Rex isn't OP. TM is king. Lots of squad have TM manipulation. It's why Thrawn does so well. Resistance, Empire, even Ewoks are decent with the TM gain.
That's why squads like rebels can't catch up. Not enough TM manipulation. It's why only certain rebels are good such as Wedge, Biggs, Chirrut, Baze, STHan. TM will always run this game.
