Yeah, you're probably right. I just wanted something outside of meta. Lando gives speed boost to everyone and I was thinking speed primary and secondary mods on 88

Anything may work on offense, but that team would be annihilated on defense. Blow up han first, stun 88 (since he is still slow) and purge chewwy with the ever so prevalent QGJ.

I honestly suspect you will plummet if you use that team. Now, replace Chewwy with Sun Fac... but then SF is pretty much just a raid on his own :)

Would Sun Fac not get mashed in defence without RG? Genuine question - I have Sun Fac myself, have not yet promoted him up to 7* due to credit deficiency (there's a surprise!). But everything I've read suggests that on defence, he stinks, because of the way the AI uses him.

Ok so here's my objective opinion. I don't think you would plummet. And what does that even mean? You'd drop to 25? I beat meta teams all the time (with non meta teams) that are supposed to be "good on D" so there's really no such thing as a defense that "holds its own". People stay in top ten by gemming back.

The challenge I have with your OP is the Arena position you're trying for. If you're trying to get to #1, then Toukai's sarcastic response may hold some water. But if you're just going for a sub 20, that team would do great, provided you had the proper gear and mods. And it would be refreshing to see something new for a change.

My non-meta team is Boba(L), Lando, STH, Poggle, Ackbar. Lando gets to go twice, AoE crits with offense up, first does 10-12k, second 20-24k. Kills most squishies, taunts aren't a problem since AoE, and STH taunt/TM brings Lando up again fast.
EDIT: Not exactly Rebel/Scoundrel, but swap Poggle with one and it would fit. Maybe Leia for more DPS/crit chance.

I currently use Ackbar (L), Han, Leia, RG, Rey. It works well on offense, but I feel like Toukai said that people target me, so I have fallen to 27th today from 2nd at payout. Not bad considering my Han is still 6*, but it would be nice to be higher, obviously. I am thinking of making a rebel/scoundrel team composed of Lando (L), Han, Leia, Dengar, StHan.

@Toukai I wondered if you two were friends. I didn't mean to sound sarcastic back but when I reread my post, it sounded that way.

I use an Ackbar lead with Lando, STH, EE and Phasma. Easily beatable but I only drop from 10 to about 25. That was all I was trying to say about non meta on D. On PVP guild challenge days I drop more because more players are gemming ... but usually not past 45. If my team dropped to 200 I'd really be scratching my head.

And yeah your Anti meta with Annie, sunfac, B2, Ayala, etc. could also become meta if they become farmable. Brutal line.

That lineup sounds like absolute hell. Yet, the perfectionist in me wonders whether Aayla works better than 5s in that slot to do more damage and take advantage of Leia's crit chance up.

Anyways, with the new aoe changes, Boba Lando is probably going to be fairly solid defensively now. And if they rework Boba while keeping his leader ability intact... B)

+1000 for this thread. Making me think seriously now about my almost-meta arena team of Phasma, RG, STHan, GS and Leia. I think my next task is going to be working Sun Fac up and trying some of the pairings mentioned above - shame I don't have enough shards to take B2 to 7*, but I wrongly assumed he was only synergistic with droid teams. I can wheel out Anakin and 5s though ;-)
