Seriously, Talia maxxed I think 6000+ Power right now

So I have maxed JC Lumi HK47 IG88 86 almost done with Poggle and I am sitting on 5* LVL 64 Talia at 4400 power. My experience with Talia as of her update is she is definitely more viable. Also my experience is that the 6th and 7th stars being about 1000 power and with 2 gear slots and 6 LVLS left I think she is useful in endgame. I am taking her all the way as I have no healer and my Poggle Droids soon to uplevel GS team will need viable healing to complete DS to level 80. Also will likely up my RG as I have no other DS taunter.

Just stating some observations

  • Are you talking about your team for arena or GW?
Healers and taunters are just for GW. What you need for arena is speed and firepower where synergy is very crucial.

Dont waste you valuable slots for non-synergized character or by putting other than attacker or support for the arena team.

My current arena team is Poggle(L), GS, 88, 86 and 47. I will replace 47 for Yoda once i get him maxed out too.

Your arena team can be modified by inserting 1-2 healers and you got your main team for GW

    Hope it helps.
  • For DS and GW is my primary interest. My Poe Poggle Droid team is still seemingly viable for arena at moment, albeit rocky

I have a question, and sorry to the OP for derailing a bit. Why would you put Poggle as leader on that team instead of 47? I am farming 47 right now aiming for this team exactly(right now i have poe instead of 47) but i was always under the impression 47 is useful mainly for his Leader ability to get 86 and 88 to fire off faster.

  • Poggle leadership give everyone on my team more firepower, while 47 only gives 30% chance support for the droids only.

I need GS special attack early to eliminate or cripple their best attacker. If GS failed then 88 AOE will surely finish it of while cripple their Poe, followed by 86 special that will eliminate Poe. Losing two of their slots ( while the rest is yellow) while i got at least 4 slots (yellow/green) will surely give me a better position to carry on.

    Hope it helps

    Ps.

I think 47 is the weak link on my current team, i will replace him with Yoda when he is ready or may be Lobot. I will prepare them both :)
  • Yes HK 47 is by far the best droid leader for arena although for GW I get the easiest wins with Lumi or Lobot leading 86/88/Hk. The 30% turnmeter is beat described as a massive guaranteed free turn as your droids synergistically crit more than any other synergy team in the game. Between 86's 100% shot crit, HK's AOE and 88's AOE you have 30% minimum crit chance on effectively 6 shots. Ignoring the nonleader boosted crit that is a 66% chance you'll get 1 crit out of 2 AOE attacks hitting 3 people each. Each usually crits 1 person at least and 86 has 100% chance on his special with HK leading. So you get at least 1 instant free turn for all 3 of your droids with HK lng as compared to Poggle.

That ignores the most important reason that more turns is superior for top 20 play. Top 20 is mostly speed and damage. More turns allow you to more accurately perform surgery on your enemy teams. Poggle gives an extra boost but even on my maxxed droids that boost sometimes will leace a Poggle buffed Lumi with 1-2 red bars, exactly where more turns wouldve helped.

    Thank you mephisto_style,

I have tried yoir suggestion and it works well. I will put 47 back to helm from now on as my default team.
